2MDX10 Series

2-stage TECs of 2MDX10 are the largest among all 2MDX types. The mix of serial and parallel commutation allows to increase the number of pellets on top stage and enlarge TEC cold side. Comparing with standard types 2MDX10 TECs have twice more pellets on top stage and higher TEC mechanical endurance. The balanced stage coefficient is achieved by pellets height adjustment. Such method allows to enlarge TEC cold side, increase the mechanical endurance of TEC second stage with more pellets and keep the optimal cooling performance without current or voltage increasing. 2MDX TE coolers are optimal for detector applications with large TEC cold side requirements. All 2MDX10 TECs are assembled using RoHS compliant Sn-Sb solder (Tmelt=230ºC) and meet Telcordia GR-486 standard requirements.
