2MX06 Series

2-stage TECs of 2MX04 type have a revised commutation between BiTe pellet pairs inside on the second stage. The mix of serial and parallel commutation allows to increase the numbe of pellets on top stage and enlarge TEC cold side. The balanced stage coefficient (the ratio between number of pellets on top and bottom stages) is achieved by pellets height adjustment. That’s why 2-stage TECs of MX type pellets on 2nd stage higher than on 1st stage. Such method allows to enlarge TEC cold side, increase the mechanical endurance of TEC second stage with more pellets installed and keep the optimal cooling performance without current or voltage increasing. 2MX TE coolers are optimal for X-Ray and IR detector applications. All 2MX04 TECs are assembled using RoHS compliant Sn-Sb solder (Tmelt=230ºC) and meet Telcordia GR-486 standard requirements. The examples of the most common MX type thermoelectric types are listed in the table below.
